Say Me Bohemian Hair?

Hi, ladies!
I plan to hide my hair this summer until August (at least) using the LadyPaniolo Deep Moisture Method.
I am planning on getting sew-ins, which would be the only time I've had a weave other than for high school prom 5 years ago, so I'm kind of nervous.
For my first weave, I want to use Say Me Bohemian Hair in 12" and am wondering if anyone has ever used it before. I just want it to be able to last 4 weeks until I get a new install.

ETA: This is the only pic I could find of the hair. I scoured the net and I guess it's sold out or discontinued everywhere.

Yikes. That's what I was afraid of. Since I made this thread, I've decided against using it and will go for the BoBraz instead and hope that it will last two months instead.

Yeah it lasted less than a week plus it looked very fake. I got alot of use from the hair after but it required some doctoring. Be wary of the bobraz.i hear its alot of work.i think the jerry and brazillian curl by zury would be something to look into as well

Really? It seems so easy... like people just wet and twist it up at night and it looks so pretty. But let me check out what you're talking about!

Oooooh this Zury Brazilian hair is soooo pretty! Thanks for the recommendation. It's a whole lot cheaper too!

girl bobraz is beautiful but it sheds like a MF....it should last you 2 months though (thats how long mine lasted) but you're probably not going to be able to re-use it...make sure you seal both sides...i got mine from leebeauty.com

:nono::nono::nono: i was twisting my hair up at night and it was alot of manipulation that led to more shedding...i lost less hair just putting in it a pineapple/bun at night

I LOVED Bobraz but my Goodness the shedding is out of this world! If I ever purchase it again i'm getting two packs and will never split the wefts again.

I think this is the issue. If you split you must seal and even that may not prevent it completely - it's one of the hazards of destabilizing the weft.

I'd go with bobraz over the cheapie weave any day. Bobraz is remy. The cheapie boho stuff is not remy and is not meant to last for more than a day or two. Or you can make a wig instead and it will last a little longer but overall if you want anything over a few days wear out of it I'd pass on the Say Me brand.

Bobraz is a lot of work....I had mine during the winter and had to wet it nightly to get it to look decent the next morning.....maybe next time ill try it during the summer without splitting the wefts

Thanks so much for the responses, ladies!
What do you all mean by "sealing?"
Sorry! I'm a weave newbie!
I love the look of the Zury hair and am thinking of getting that. Does anyone else have experience with it?

While we're on the subject, has anyone on this thread used the Outre micro yaki hair? As you can tell, I didn't know much about quality hair when I bought these months ago, so I went the cheap route. Lol.
I prefer to ask you all rather than read reviews since I know you all probably actually care for the hair as opposed to an everyday woman that might not be into real haircare.

For the ladies that experienced tangling, did you find an alternative weave that didn't tangle? I'd love to wear a curly wig the month of July because I will be traveling a lot and want to make sure my hair is protected and I don't have to worry about styling/sweating it out.

I am wearing kinky curly indian hair that I bought online. This is my second time using it - doesn't tangle or shed. I'm a big fan.

I used to use it back in the day and I remember it tangling so badly. The curls were pretty so I dealt with it. I just learned not to bother it too much. I got about a month of wear from it...

You may want to look into another brand. For BSS hair, I've seen great reviews on Bobbi Boss and also Bohyme Brazillian wave. Also, alot of indian hair vendors sell indian curly which is great for the warmer months.

Amoreofcurls i sealed both sides!!! i can only imagine what it would be like if i didnt seal...i swore off weaves after i discovered 1/2 wigs, but that zury brazilian is calling me...i saw a few make your own 1/2 wig tutorials on youtube but im pretty sure i would just fudge it up and waste money...

I went ahead and bought the Zury Brazilian and some other Indian Remy hair to get put in maybe in 2 weeks or so.

As you know, I used BoBraz. It is a LOTTT of work -- I was cowashing and twisting/braiding it up every night and it eventually matted after about a month. I believe it was LadyP who said it was the cowashing -- TOO frequent, apparently -- that caused the matting. I did seal it, and I used the whole bottle, and it still shed.

Sealing is adding a protectant, usually something used to stop fabric fraying, along the weft. This is supposed to prevent shedding, but it didn't work AT.ALL. on that BoBraz. Maybe you should still seal the Zury....I'm not that familiar with it, though. I used Aleene's Fray Block, which was like $2 at Wal-Mart.

Ahaha. It's so funny you came in this thread because I was just stalking your blog and your pics with the BoBraz sparked my decision to try it out. I'll definitely pick up something to seal with, though I think the person I'm going to may have some. I'll definitely ask her. The limited reviews I've read on Zury seem to be positive but I will see. I will try and develop some type of regimen with the hair once I have it installed. I wash once a week now, so it'd be awesome if I could keep it that way, especially if too much will cause it to become matted. I guess I'll just play it by ear and see what works.
I think I'm going to try and hide my hair in sew-ins until December. I'm still in a minor funk about my setback and am hoping I will have regained the lost length by then.
