Saw some cute natural kids during lunch today

They were elementary and middle school age. There are in a summer program at my job. Almost all were natural and the girls had some of the thickest, fluffiest, moisturized (real) afro puffs I've ever seen. Others had twists or cornrows. Several of the guys had locks. They were running around and girls were throwing things at the boys. So there was this one girl with a chunky cottony afro puff that all the guys were chasing. Somewhere along the way she got something stuck in it. She was trying unsuccessfully to flick it out. (The puff was waving to and fro) So one of the guys walks over, has her bend down and he picks whatever out of her puff. Then they look at each other and smile. It was so sweet and innocent. Let's me know there are still kids being kids.

Aw, cute story! I just saw a little girl with APL braids in my neighborhood.

And while they weren't kids, one of my professors (THREE of them!) all have gorgeous hair!
One has thick, shiny, fluffy 4A hair that's to her shoulders, unstretched.
Another has healthy, gorgeous APL relaxed hair.
And the other has thick, APL locks (and she's funny and gorgeous to boot).
When I got there it was like, :lovedrool:

I saw some cute lil girls earlier in the supermarket... 2 of them had the most curly natural puffs...it was so cute.. I don't know why, but I love it when I see kids with natural hair..
