Thanks again for your help. I moved the steamer to another home and it did not trip the breaker. Apparently, the issue is related to the circuit breaker in that home. It is funny it had never happened before. I did not change anything and it is a fairly new house. :perplexed

@kim1006

The fuse in the unit has nothing to do with your breakers tripping. The fuse in the unit protects the unit/load. It does not effect or protect your breaker.

As I stated in my earlier post, you need to see if your breaker (in your service panel) is rated high enough to run the steamer. If it's not, nothing you can do to the steamer can "make" the breaker stop tripping. It trips as a safety precaution to keep from burning down your dwelling.

Get professional help. This is not a DIY situation if you are not a trained electrician.

I am going to try mine in another room and see if I have the same problems... I am about ready to throw this thing in the trash.

Just talked with the technician there and he said it was my heat sensor - he is sending me instructions to reset. PM me is anyone would like the instructions.

The trick above did not solve the problem... however I have stumbled on a workaround.

I let it heat on high and when steam begins I move it to low and it works fine.

This will have to do for now.
