Well,I had a great experience with salerm the other day! I was braiding my daughters hair and I mixed some salerm with water and applied it, result = super moisturized, soft hair!

I agree with you. I just found out about this product about a month ago and it is one of my fav's. I idon't use it all the time, but definitely when I do my pin curls or protectve style.
I wear my hair in a bun 95% of the time so when I do, I'll apply it to my hair (especially the ends) and when I take the bun down after a few days it's really nice and silky.
I'm just bummed that I can't find it in local stores so I get it online at metrobeauty.com.
Salerm is really really good. It makes my hair soo soft. I just have a problem tho when i roller set, it makes my curls too soft and after a while the curls become straight
but it is good when i wanna air dry my hair or blow dry it.

yup, salerm works 'best' as a blow-drying lotion for me. i also used it to rescue me after i deep conditioned w/silk elements luxury conditioner (hated it). after i was done under the dryer and rinsing my hair felt like i poured flour in it. i put a little salerm in and my hair was silky in 1 second
hmmm...maybe THATS what happened with my rollerset...I spent 30 minutes rolling my hair(1st shot with real rollers and roller clips-not the ones with snap ons) and sat under the dryer for an hour, only to have my curls last for all of 5 minutes....next time Ill use a different leave in and a little setting lotion.
I certainly thank the sister who brought up the heaviness that Salerm 21 leaves which makes the curls soft and fall. It's ok if you are going to do a straight blow out or a flatter doobie but for steady curls Salerm or creamy leave in is a NO NO.
