Safer Way to Curl Natural Straightened Hair

Is there a way to create spiral curls without using a curling iron? I was thinking about purchasing Caruso rollers but I don't want my hair to revert. I need to wrap my hair at night to keep it straight so roller-setting or pin-curling overnight wouldn't work. Any suggestions?

Girl it looks like you're asking for your cake and trying to eat it too lol. There are always flexirods but the curls are going to fall right out if you wrap your hair at night without pincurling.

^^ Ditto for Curlformers. You'll get great curls, but they're going to fall if you're going to wrap at night.
