wait, y'all, i'm confused. aren't you supposed to not wet it before detangling first? or what are the step? take out weave, then slather with conditioner, then detangle?

That's what I thought.

I remove the extensions, detangle w/ my fingers, then detangle w/ a comb, and then add the conditioner.

The one and only time I got my hair braided there they insisted on using brown gel to do my braids so when she dipped them in the end my hair had a brown stain on it.

And, they make you pay when they're halfway through your head. After they get the money the slow wayyyyy down since they have no reason to keep moving quickly.

That place is just...ugh. I will NEVER go back.

Again..... That place is awful.... If your hair "ain't 3 inches..." they add 75 bucks per 3 inches.....
It would cost me 500 bucks for regular braids.

Those scary H@@@@S could not come near my head.

Why were they all dressed like California Raisins???
:lachen::lachen: why was that so funny?

Oh man... brings back memories of my mom brushing my hair in the morning. If I cried she'd slap me upside the head with the brush LMAO
 aww sorry i had to laugh though cause you laughed.

yea I cringed watching her comb her own hair all rough and with it dry like that. I was thinking the exact same thing, after watching that videos I would never go to her shop.

I went there twice before while I was in high school. I didn't have a bad experience with my hair. There was an African lady (don't recall where she is from) and she could braid her *** off. Was pretty fast too. But the way they conduct business in there is a damn mess!!! My braids were on point both times though. The only reason I took them down was because my hair grew.

I guess keeping the natural stuff healthy isn't as important to some, I keep having to look away from it... I teared up a little.

Ouch. I think my heart stopped every time she yanked that comb through her hair. I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I was too through after a few minutes.

I've seen some of her vids. There is no way in heck I would go to her braid shop. I don't even know why a business owner would put up some of those ignorant vids that she has up on her site.

Honestly, I'd never put conditioner on my hair before detangling it... My secret weapon is S-Curl:grin: I put some on my braids, unbraid, more S-Curl, detangle, and braid again (bigger braid). Slip guaranteed, you barely loose a single strand:yep:. If I put conditioner on my hair before, it is knots city for sure:nono:

What killed me was how short the broken off pieces in the crown were!! They were less than half the length of the rest of the hair, and she clearly didn't care at all. The person combing didn't even attempt to be gentle in combing through the hair, probably because, like Pandora said, she doesn't care about the natural stuff underneath. Such a shame; I'm glad I live across the country.

And WHY was she combing it with that FINE TOOTHED COMB???????

Heard in the background: "Y'all wanna buy some cookies????????" :lachen:

Between 3:00 - 3:15 she pretty much sums up here haircare philosophy. "I'm going to loose a lot of hair, but.... I could pretty... much care less".

If she did care she or her assistant would use a rattail or Needle to help unmatt that stuff.
I hate to see :itches that take better care of FakeAzd hair than they do their own hair! HATE IT!!!!! OMG

Why is she raking a small-tooth comb thru her DRY hair starting at the roots!:nono: No wonder, the client is yelling

:lachen: you could tell LHCF got a hold of this beause not there are comments about slathing on V05

Why did someone give the comment about using watera thumbs down? People really don't know anything about hair

where is her shop?? so i can steer clear!
i started watching
couldn't finish i stopped after like 35 seconds
that was sick ewwww

Even before I knew about LHCF I knew that I had to moisturize my situation. That is some blankety blank blank foolishness. :look: Stop the madness.

Why didn't she slather her head in some conditioner? Crazy people.
They didnt do it b/c they dont know any better.

I have seen a comb being broken on hair before. But never in my LIFE have I ever heard of anybody dying their hair while in braids.

I have. In fact I had a neighbor years ago who actually did it. Her hair paid the price for it BIG TIME too. She ended up getting a TWA one week after she removed her braids because the damage was that severe.
