I think that is a great idea. Is that the ability to subscribe to topics from a message board?

Yep exactly and if u have a website or favorite spot like the main yahoo page or your own website you can have the post show up there. I subscribe to many rss feeds and put them on my site so when i am at work i only have to go to my site to catch up on all the news. I know yahoo groups allows it now.

I noticed as I was searching for other RSS feeds to my "My Yahoo!" homepage, LHCF came up and I was able to add it to my page. Is this something new?

No the board is capable of RSS feeds. All you need is an RSS aggregator and you can add it. There is a section somewhere in the FAQ.

Ok, I checked the FAQ and it said:

The administrator may have enabled RSS syndication, this allows you to view newly created threads in guest viewable forums without visiting the board.

Hey Gigi, I FINALLY figured this one out. Yes you can but when you set your feed up, you'll need to put in your login information so you can access the member only forums.

For the feed address:
http://www.longhaircareforum.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=(input which forum number(s) you want to access)

You can find the forum number by moving your cursor over the forum links at the LHCF Main forum page listing. You'll see the url then f=(number). that's the number you want to put at the end.

For Example: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=10 (That'll load the Health and Fitness forum).
