Rollersetting with Tape?!

Good afternoon everyone! I just got back from Barnes and Noble, and I was reading the June issue of Cosmopolitan. In their beauty section, they suggested rollersetting with tape so you wont get those pesky creases that you get from roller covers or clips. They said you should put the dryer on low heat though, so the tape doesn't melt  ! I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried this and what you guys think...

For who's hair type? cause I would never try that one. Not only because the tape may take a few strands when being removed, but who in the H E double hockey sticks is gonna sit under the dryer any longer than needed?, because that's what a low setting will get ya. :perplexed

What kind of advice is that???? Rollerset with tape? I'll be daggone if I put some tape in my hair. I swear, people are stupid. I don't really call a lot of people stupid, but whoever came up with that idea needs to be shot twice in the neck.

Yea, they didn't specify the hair type but its Cosmo so :ohwell: ... my hair takes long enough to dry already, I don't need anything to make the time even longer

Damn sure wouldn't work on my 4a/b. I don't think Cosmo is talking to "us".

Where would you put the tape? And maybe they were talking about that special hair tape, has anyone else seen that? But still where would it go to hold the roller? The dents are not the big of a deal.

Even if the tape doesn't snag your hair, you'll still probably have adhesive residue in your hair.

Girl you just made me run to my bedroom to get my Cosmo (fave magazine is never too far from me  )

I sooooo don't understand what they are saying.. dumb idea unless it's a hidden way to do it.

It's on page 112 for anyone looking for it.
