Rollersetting help - Pictures Needed

I need help your. I know that there are members with pictures of rollers in their hair and I need to see them.

My issues are:

1. I have the long clips but I can't get the rollers tight.

2. I somehow leave hair out of the roller and don't see it until it has dried.

3. I can't get the back rollers tight. Should I maybe roll up in the back because the back always comes out before it drieds.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Girl, I'm about to get my rollersetting how-to hook up from Macherieamour's new DVD. I wish I could help you more, but I'm kind of new to rollersetting myself... I'm also working on securing the rollers more tightly with the clips ...there are some pictures of my attempts in my fotki, though, if that helps Good luck!

One great tip I learned from Anky is to wet each magnetic roller in water before rollling up my wet hair with it. The hair clings even more to the roller and it makes it easier to roll up and stay until it dries. Also, if your hair is left out of the roller, it means using a smaller section of hair on the roller or a larger roller.

You should check out Macharieamour and Lonie's fotki...they have GREAT pics of their rollersets..

It took me about six rollersets to get really good at it. The first couple were a mess. Practice really does make perfect. Good luck!

When you get the funds, I suggest purchasing Marchare's Rollerseting DVD too. Her written tutorial was VERY helpful to me awhile back, so I know her video can explain rollersetting to a baby. Even with all the explanation, it is a "skill" so you will need to practice.

i will suggest-
wetting rollers
rolling upwards- i can never get a tight fit rolling downwards

I have pics in my fotki... I've been rollersetting my hair since I was 13 (11 years) I used to use those rollers that come with their own clips... I think they are good for beginners. I became a pro with the clips after reading Macherieamour's blog post on rollersetting. The trick is to get the clip on top of the roller. I know she has a DVD out on rollersetting as already mentioned... they also have rollersetting tutorials on you tube, you might wanna check that out. It doesn't matter if you have a few hairs hainging out, it doesn't have to be perfect. But, you'll get there with practice.
