Rollerset on Natural Hair

Tooling around LHCF got me inspired to switch it up. I haven't done anything to my hair since going natural except wash and go's and some failed twist outs and braid outs. These were my results with Lacio Lacio and Keracare setting lotion. Using a microfiber towel before I rolled was a HUGE time saver. I used medium rollers (don't have any giant ones.)
***sorry! I don't know why my phone pics come out sideways***

The curls are fairly tight and are starting to fall more. Don't know how long it will last but when I had a relaxer i would preserve roller sets with a high pin curl bun, so I'll try that.

Very pretty. Did you do anything specific to your roots after removing the rollers (ie. wrap, flat iron, etc.)?

Very nice.
Mine don't come out that silky looking, at least at the root.
I plan on doing more indirect heat styles too...

No, Lacio Lacio always did a decent job of smoothing my roots when I had a relaxer, so surprisingly, it still does. Now, they are not bone straight, but they are a lot straighter than normal.
P.S. I also do the pineapple with pin curls, which seems to help smooth the roots. Apparently, I was pineapplin' before I knew what pineapplin' was! LOL

Thanks girlie,

I use Lacio Lacio as well. It really makes the length of my hair silky when I rollerset, but I still end up needing a bit of heat at my roots to loosen the crinkle. :)

If I could figure out how to get away from that, I would be rollersetting for life.
