I plan on getting a touch-up (giving up on transitioning

Can I do a conditioner rinse tonight, let it airdry so that the stylist can really see the new growth on Friday? Is there any other "prepping" I should do for the retouch??

muchos gracias Ladies!

I would put a some water in a spray bottle and spray the newgrowth area. I would spray about 4 inches of it to be sure you get all the newgrowth to wave up. That's what I'm doing before I relax on Saturday. Of course, I'll be spraying on Friday night. hth

I actually do a full wash and set 2 days before a touch up. That way, the hair at the roots is pretty curly, and the relaxed hair is straight, so they can see the new growth easily. I don't let my hair airdry because they usually want to detangle the hair before they apply the relaxer and I don't like to comb my hair when it's airdried. Too much breakage.

I always straighten my hair about a week or so before getting a touch-up. This helps my stylist out a great deal.

I usually will blowdry my hair the last wash before my relaxer. This allows me to comb through my hair easily when I put in the relaxer, but still be able to tell where my newgrowth is.

Thanks Ladies.... I better break out the blowdrier beacuse otherwise trying to comb my hair will be a nightmare!
