Review:Giovanni Direct Leave-In

I was looking for a really good leave-in that is a creme. Looked at a couple of posts for 4a/4b ladies and was told about Giovanni Direct Leave-in.
To make a long story short I tried it today after washing with Aubrey J.A.Y and conditioning with Mizani
Fulfyl/Hydrafuse (combo)...I am in love

. When I put the Giovanni in my towel dried hair the tangles fell out, it make finger combing my hair hassle free. I am currently 6 weeks post relaxer but it feels like 8 weeks because of Surge and vitamins. I would definitely recommend this product

Well, I am glad you like...it is may all time favorite mixed w/aloe vera gel....some of the other ladies here like it as well...

Has anyone tried mixing it with a serum, instead of aloe vera? Do you think the results will be similar? I'm asking because I want to use up the products I have before buying some more. Thanks!

I use a little mixed with coconut oil before I wrap my hair, then I use the same mixture in the mornings on my ends! I love that stuff so much, I buy three bottles at a time!

SherryLove: What does the aloe vera gel do when mixed with Giovanni? I have heard other ladies using aloe vera gel but I never knew why.

marla: I got some coconut oil also, so I will try mixing on my next wash.

I just happened to be experimenting one day with aubrey organics aloe vera gel and decided to add it to giovanni since they are both natural prods. What I discovered is that it made the giovanni leave in extra soft and moisturizing to my hair. it's incredible. my hair is always soft and moisturized with so much body. I then had to share it with the ladies here and on other hair care forums.

Sherrylove turned me on to the Giovanni Direct leave in with added aloe vera and I'm glad to say, I've never looked back!
