I bought this yesterday but haven't used it yet. I do want to loosen my curls but I'm not sure if I really want the chemicals in my hair.

I finally broke down and applied this to my daughters hair. It was getting out of control. Its very mangeable now and very very soft. I had to do some thinking about it for a little, but I really like the fact because its not applied to the roots like a relaxer and she still have her wave pattern.

Her hair used to be so drawed up and would shrink in a flash.

So its like a light no-lye relaxer

Thats a neat step that they actually included sunflower oil....

Does the box protray it to be an all natural product?...i wouldnt have thought it to be anything other than a chemical.

I used the JFM with good results. I really does lessen the shrinkage. I didn't know how retouch it, so I relaxed it.

I tried this before when I was relaxed and had gone on a 5 month stretch. Well it straightened my hair straight as any relaxer. The only problem was that the stylist refused to put the sunflower on my hair. Then I allowed her to put it in my hair again after I had been natural for 8 months and the same thing happened again. This time it was poofy and only one side of my head had curls. I want to like this product but I just cant.

Sorry, no pics, but it just looked like the pic from the OP who started the thread. It made styling a breeze. I wish I knew how to retouch because I would no doubt do JFM again when my hair gets longer and harder to part.
