I only straighten my hair twice a year, and I've seen flat iron prices close to that in most cities I've lived in, so I'm not shocked. I'm moving to Md so I'm thinking of putting my name on her waiting list. I've encountered A LOT of stylists who say they use healthy hair care practices, but they don't.
This. If what Reneice and company does was so dime a dozen I wouldn't be singing Sarah McLaughlin songs to the missing edges of some of my regular weave wearing friends or fried hair I see when they get flatirons. (excluding those with health issues of course)
So yeah for me....they're consistent and truly live up to their healthy hair practice claim. It's worth it, but then again I'm coming at this in terms of my weaves and the flatiron I get after take down. So I only pay that money 6 or 7 times a year max taking breaks between installs.
