Relaxers/Texturizers on Children...

I didn't watch the vid. :drunk:

But, it doesn't surprise me. A lot of little black girls are getting relaxers/texturizers younger than that... :nono:

Of course I don't find it appropriate to put relaxers/texturizers on a young child's head. I don't put them on my son's hair. I think the kid should be closer to puberty honestly. But again, they're not my kids and I have no say-so... :look:

Now that I know how to properly take care of natural African textured hair, I don't think I would, no.

I don't think they're appropriate at any age. My child can't have one until they move out.

Hmm. It leaves me feeling unsettled.

I would prefer not to texturize or relax their hair.

If I had to choose between theirs and mine to have time to see to their natural hair, I'd live in two long braids until they were old enough to tend it themselves so I'd have time for their hair and at least keep mine healthy, if not "bangin'" in the meantime.
