Is it possible to go from a relaxer to texturizer without chopping /images/graemlins/confused.gif I'm thinking that it would eventually lead to breakage if I don't chop off the fully relaxed ends,

Here's the trick:

-Don't change the brand of relaxer that you use. Instead, just go down to the lowest strength (Mild). Here, you'll still be relaxing your hair, just not all the way to straight as it's usually done.

And it might eventually lead to some breakage since the textures are still different, but not as much as when you're transitioning with your new-growth texture.
