Is anyone able to do this, if so, how far do you go? Do you airdry/rollerset under dryer first?

I find my hair responds best when I airdry in a braidout first. The wet set helps to lock moisture in. The couple of times I dried for about 20 min under a hood dryer and then Maxiglided, that was just too much heat on my hair and it left it kinda dry. :ohwell:

I like to press my roots with the Maxiglide to about midshaft and then I just open it up and steam burst the ends. HTH :)

I know its a lot of heat, but when I started using Maxi, I could go 9-11 weeks between touch ups. I usually blow dry my hair 65 % on low, then put it in a ponytail, then braid the ponytail. Let it dry, then I start with the ends of my hair and steam it, then go to the root. I can't let my hair air dry when its really close to a touch up... the ends get very frizzy and they seem to struggle through the pins on the maxiglide...
