I am in the last stages of my info gathering. My final texlax will be today and this time I will hopefully be able baby my way into full relax mode 3 months later. My texlaxed hair gets curly when wet. Just need a lil more information from the experts again.:D

Do you mean can you wrap it without flat ironing or blowdrying?? If that's what you mean, then yes, I can. Now, whether or not it looks good afterwards is another story.

I used to wrap my hair after washing while it was still kind of damp. It always allowed my hair to dry straight but the only way i could wrap it well was by using a brush. Now that I've learned that it's detrimental to brush wet hair and that my strands can't handle that much wet manipulation, i don't do it anymore.

But if your hair is strong, then wet-wrapping, rubbing on some oil, and tying it up for the night works really well, just pay careful attn to the crown area because that area will dry crinkly if you don't wrap that part well.

Yes, you can wet wrap your hair, not use heat and get it straight, but it depends on how thick your hair is or how much you have to wrap around your head, without the use of any heat whatsoever, it will take a very long time to dry.

My old stylist would wet wrap my hair; i would sit under the dryer for almost 2 hours (still wouldn't be dry), then I would go home with it wrapped up and just take it down the next morning, but it may take a VERY long time to dry if you don't use any heat at all to depend on it to dry. (try sitting under the heat just for about 30 minutes to "set" it and then letting it air dry the rest of the way)

I hope that answered your question............

I'm not sure if you mean wet or dry. You can wrap it wet, and let it airdry or dry it under a dryer. When I was relaxed I used to airdy my hair in a ponytail, combed straight and secured with an elastic so it didnt curl up or in 4-6 braids. After it was dry I would put a lil bbd stretch and some oil sheen on it and wrap it and put a scarf around it. My body heat helped straighten it. I would have to unwrap it and wrap it a few times to get it completely straight, but it worked, and totally with out heat. I dont know if that is what you were looking for or not.
