I have a section of REALLY underprocessed hair. I have Aveda it doesn't do much to that section. What about Smooth down?

^ I have the smooth down butter treat and the heat glide. However, when I'm stretching and trying to really lay down the new growth I turn to either PM Super Skinny conditioner or AO Island Naturals.

I actually just tried the Redken Butter Treat for the first time yesterday after DCing, and it was literally amazing how smooth it made my hair -- I'm 21 weeks post relaxer, and was in need of something more powerful than my usual leave-in. My hair felt like silk all day.

If you don't want to spend too much, and are able to go to Ulta, they sell sample sizes of the Butter Treat. It was amazing.
