I bought the following:

smooth infusion shampoo
smooth infusion conditioner
aveda detox
brillant humectant

My question for ladies that have used smooth infusion is it moisturizing enough to use after aphogee(strong treatment) or should i use the dr line?

Help

I have not tried this line. I use the ADR line. Personally, when I use my ADR I use the entire line meaning this is not when I would do my aphogee treatment since the ADR has lots of protein. When I do my aphogee, I use other moisturizing cond and lots of it.

I was at the Aveda store today getting a resupply and the sales associate explained to me that the Damage Remedy was more moisturizing than the Smooth Infusion. I haven't used the Smooth Infusion so I can't personally comment. But if that is in fact true, I would have to say that the Smooth Infusion would not give you enough moisture after an Aphogee treatment. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't think that the Damage Remedy would be moisturizing enough for Aphogee because it does contain a small amount of protein. I'd look more for a conditioner without protein to follow behind Aphogee.

I use both the ADR and the ASI lines, and I think the conditioners are really not deep conditioners, which is what I think you need after a hard protein treatment like Aphogee. I cannot wait until Aveda develops a deep conditioner. I stick with my Dominican deep conditioners: La Bomba, Wheat Germ, Silicon Mix (I think that is Dominican but I am not certain). Others I use are Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol and Queen Helene.

Good luck! Aveda is da bomb!;)
