I just had to share this with you guys, I'm still in my towel as I type. I'm just so excited!!!!!
So today I bought Kenra moisture poo, Joico K-Pak reconstructor, and Redken Real Contol Intense Renewal. I pre-pooed with Organics Mayo for about an hour then rinsed. At this point my hair feels moisturized and I'm used to that result. Then I washed with the Kenra, my first time ever using this, and I liked how it cleaned my hair without stripping the moisture I got from the pre-poo. And THEN. . . .
I towel dried my hair and applied the Intense Renewal. The jar says "super moisturizing mask for dense/dry/sensitized hair". It is creamy and very thick. I didnt like the way it felt on my hands and I thought that it would leave my hair hard and dry. Anyway, I applied it and put on a shower cap. Went about my business.
Twenty minutes later (I left it on 5 extra minutes than the jar said) I grabbed another moisturizing con because I was almost sure my hair would be dry and nasty. I have never been more wrong in my life.
As soon as the water touched my hair, all I felt was silky, supple, moisturized hair kissing my fingers. It was love at first touch. As I was rinsing, I could not BELIEVE how extra soft and moisturized my hair was! I have never felt anything like it before. Oh and the slip is amazing, so wonderfully amazing. I thought I hadn't rinsed it all out but no, I had. The product just left my hair with so much slip I thought I didnt rinse well.
So it's all rinsed out and my hair is still amazing, I towel dry and it's Still amazing, I walk around for about 5 mins without any product (usually my hair would start to frizz or dry out) STILL amazing. I then applied Cantu Break Cure as my leave in and then Elast QP Mango Butter afterwards, STILL AMAZING!
My hair is air drying right now and my ends are always the first to dry. Its not wet anymore, but it doesn't feel moisture deprived at all!! All in all this is the best moisturizing mask I have EVER used and I'm about to buy 4 more jars in case they have an estimated date to discontinue
