Thanks for the review....I bought the whole line (PJ) and I love the Shampoo and the Masque. The Conditioner is okay, the thermal protectant does give a lot of body without weighing the hair down. The creme moisturizer is just okay to me...It'll probably take me a year (if I stick with it) to use it all, maybe longer. Gym your review was spot on....I can say I'll definetly repurchase the shampoo/masque.....you see the benefits of these products once the hair is dry.
Thanks for such a thorough review. Now about those little packets I see in the picture...

gym - your review is captures exactly what I feel about this line. I bought the poo, con, mask... I used it yesterday and I know my stylist was thinking "why this chick keep putting her fingers in her hair?" but I wanted to see how my hair felt. You know this stuff is great once your hair is dry.... My hair is light and blinging right now. This is a keeper. Trade Secrets had the liter size poo and con, 40% off. So I paid about $45 for all three products. This is going to replace my aveda DR line, and it is cheaper too.
That's the true test of how a conditioner performs.
So would this line be considered primarily moisturizing or strengthening? I will probably a least try the mist for now because I have been looking for a product like this for heat protection. I am still testing out Aveda DR products.
ITA ladies, you really see the difference when your hair is dry. Now, a day later, my hair has alot of shine and I haven't added any additional product. Even my SO said that it looked different.
I agree Supergirl. You are the one that got me really thinking about stuff like this. You can't always go on wet hair hype.
I would say both.
According to the brochure and from what I have observed, the shampoo and the conditioner are a balance of moisture and protein.
The mask gives more moisture and the thermal mist gives more strengthening effects. The Creme care cream is very moisturizing and gives the hair control.
The mist worked very well when I was rollersetting and when I flat ironed my bangs.
Oh yes ma'am! When you said in your review that you noticed the diff. more so when your hair was dry, you know I made plans to call my local Ulta (saved as a contact in my cell ) to see if they'd gotten the line in yet. They haven't.
You can have some of these sample packs.
Today, I was taking down my pins curls and my boyfriend was like what did you spray on your hair, it looks shiney. It was the real control, I haven't put any additional product on my hair.

Now see no fair I was doing very well controlling the PJism. I am only going to buy the mist not the shampoo and mask, I already have new Aveda stuff. Only the mist, only the mist I must resist the urge:assimilat:

*screech* Wait a dayum minute! Trade Secrets has the liter sized Real Control for 40% off? I WILL be there tomorrow!
Try the mist first and see if you can get samples of the other stuff before you buy the whole thing or atleast get through your aveda first
