This crazy, I have saw kids as young as five with weave and don't approve of it but now this is going to far?!

I'm thinking did she/he take the baby to the African braiding shop because I heard they braid tight! And did the baby cry?

Extensions are heavy! Won't that interfere with the baby's gross motor development? Can she even lift her head with all that on there?

Ratchet ratchet ratchet!

That pic made me sick to my stomach. What a horrible mother! Who puts extensions on a child that young? And what so freakin long???!?! I swear some people are just idiots that do not deserve children:nono:

This actually makes me so sad for our young mothers. Did no one tell this mother that this is just wrong? What has happened to our Village?

Those braids look tight and painful. Poor baby.

Sidenote: are braids considered weaves now?

Im soo shocked by this, speechless...child endangerment? Uh huh- yep because that ish looks heavy and tight...a babies hair is so delicate.....

Sent from my iPad using LHCF

WTH! that's just plain laziness babies hair isn't even fully developed and she has all that mess on her head smh baby hair is already being compromised bcz of her dumb a$$ mother

The baby looks so young she hasn't even had a chance to grow a head full of hair

I personally do not agree with children having extensions in. Any child under 13 has no business with extensions, weaves or relaxed hair imo. I plan to give my children that choice when they get to 16 years old. Until then, just no.

That poor baby just has no chance with a healthy scalp with those braids in. I cannot even imagine the headache she has.

I have a cousin who put extensions in her daughter's hair when she was about two years old. She was concerned that the baby looked bald for a girl. I thought it was ridiculous.
