in july i made apl, and now im still apl just a little past it. i blow dryed my hair to show some length. im currently k.i.s.s.. i only style my hair twice. once during the week, and on saturday. trust it will keep your progress:yep:

You have had a GREAT growing year! Now spill that reggie!
aww thanks
my reggie is to

wash hair and condition once per week,
cowash once a week and style my hair until wash day which is saturday,
dc, once per week
tie hair up every night
wear my hair bunned 3-5 days a week or braid out, twist n curl, or hair pinned
keep my ends moisturized,
heat on hair once every couple of months
rollerset on wet hair and let hair air dry naturally (no heat)
detangle thoroughly on saturday

i love to rollerset my hair thats usually what i do twice a month then i might wear it mon tue and wednesday its in a bun. i dont like my hair on my shoulders it snags, sometimes i wear my phony pony i got in september. other than that keeping it simple has made me preserve every hair on my head,

Nice progress :yep:

:congrats:
glad to see my transitioning idol pop in :giggle:
wanna trade my 6 month post for your 13?

my advice to everyone is to not put stress on your hair. as in daily manipulating. ladies who are not yet apl, try not to keep your hair down as much because when hair snags= progress loss. thats why i been wearing a bun and pinning up my hair. i hated for it to snag against clothing. so roller setting and braid outs for me.if you must wear your hair down wear a tank top or a shirt that has a U or a square shaped back, that way your hair is on your back instead of snagging on your shirt.

:congrats: that is execellent progess! I am always inspired by these threads but especially when I see people grow out their hair from shorter lengths :yep:

OT: MrsdeReyes looks like your hair a great year too! :yep:
