Hello Ladies,

I was wondering, have any of you ever tried one of those "quick weaves" as a way of wearing your hair in a protective style? I've been wearing my hair in a teeny weeny bun since I've read that that's a good way to wear it to protect your hair, but I really want to have it down for my job in sales. Do you think this is safe? It's put on with just combs. Is it too much stress?

Hey Cassie!

I sometime wear instant weave as a protective style. I have pics in my album. I think it is a wonderful alternative to wearing your 'real' hair.

I say yay for the instant weaves.. i wear em..

Everytime I sport mine I get compliments. They don't know it's a weave cause it blends well with your hair.

Thanks everyone, I think I'll try it this weekend. I tried it out just to see how it would look, but I wasn't gonna buy it until I got all of your blessings! It's human hair too, so I can curl it into different styles. Thanks for all of your help. Smooches!!!

I just bought one and it looks soooo nice!! Very natural looking.

Is there a web site where I can find "quick weaves"?

I like them. I think that they blend in very well with my hair and I don't have the commitment of a weave, nor the price!

My only problem is that I bought one that wasn't human hair so I can't crimp nor curl as I would like. Therefore, I have to go get another this weekend.

I wear a curly quick weave ( like Kelis' hair) and I get so many compliments on "my" hair lol.

I want a quick weave but the only ones that I can afford
are synthetic

but it looks stiff, can you colour
synthetic hair or spray some sort of moisturizing oil on it?

thanks.

I have a synthetic one, and it's holding up very nicely. I just trim the fly away hairs, and keep it wrapped up in the net that it came in. I don't put any ptoducts in it.

Probably. You should check your nearest beauty supply store, they may have the HH ones for much cheaper.

Hi DSD! I just saw the pics of your daughter's hair. Can you offer some advice to me? I have a 7 year old and her hair won't grow for anything. She is a 3b texture. It looks marvelous when wet but once dry, it's a mess. I vowed to stop the blow drying and the pressing, she doesn't have a perm and with the grade of hair she has, I don't want to perm it. I think she will aprreciate it texture later on. Please tell me your daughter's regimine.
