Hi everyone i have a question I would like to ask. Do you have to deep condition after a protein treament?

If it is a havey protein treatment such as Aphogee, you really should follow up with a deep moisturizing conditioner. I usually don't get back under the dryer for an extended period of time(although sometimes I will), but I'll keep a moisturizing conditioner on my hair for another 5-15 mins. If it is a light protein such as Aubrey's GPB, I don't follow up with another conditioner. Aubreys is moisturizing enough.

Technically, a protein or reconstructive treatment is a deep conditioning so I'm not sure if I understand your question.

I interpreted that she meant a moisturizing conditioner to be left on for an extended period of time.

I thought the same as you melodee. I don't use a moisturizing conditioner after I deep condition with protein.
