quick ? about APL

Where exactly does it start? I mean is APL measured where the hair meets arm pit in the front, or where the hair meets the arm pit from the back, or both arm pit in back and front?

Gosh I hope its when the hair is hanging straight down the back. If its the front, I will never make it. Most of the ladies here I see measure their hair when its hanging straight back. If it were measured down the front, BSL length would almost be to my knees right about now.

now that i think about it, that makes sense. All this time i thought it was in the front, here i at APL. I feel so silly, yet happy!
