Question for the ladies that color....

How often do touch up or re-color your hair? I dyed mine in July and these black roots are starting look a lil funny on my auburn hair and I’m ready to re-touch. I used Textures and Tones last time and experienced hardly any dryness from it.

My question is do you think it’s too soon to touch it up? Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

It's been 4 months since you colored it and you didn't notice any ill efects so it shouldn't be a problem to color it. When my hair was colored I retouched every 10 to 12 weeks. It led to damage because I didn't take care of it and was coloring it blonde. But if you haven't seen any negative effects why not.

I color my hair about every four-six months. It just really depends how long I can stand my roots. I haven't had any problems following this type of schedule for my color treatments.
