Question: For those that Color w/demi permanent color

Hi ladies,

For those that color with a demi permanent, how often do you color? I colored using Natural Instincts (Malaysian Cherry) last week and wanted to know when is the next time I can color. Also, with a demi-permanent, do you only touch up the roots or can you recolor the whole head?

I would like to color but with Matrix Color Sync for my birthday in October and wanted to know if it would be too soon to color. Please advise.

It lasts about 6 weeks. I went a bit over 8 weeks and my color faded, plus I had a lot of NG.

I also co-wash, DC, and/or shampoo and DC at least three times a week.

When you retouch, the whole head is done. I get Aveda demi perm at the Institute.

i dyed my hair a darker black and did it every 4 mos or so.

U used Clairol's natural instincts too but in midnight black. That color does not come off. I color when my roots start to be noticeable because my natural hair color is dark brown.
