I’ve been using the Essential Oil Blend for Hair Growth

http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=973

for over a month now. I also have an appointment to get my hair done on Friday. Should I stop using the blend X number of days before my relaxer or can I keep using it right up until I get my hair done?

Speaking of relaxers, is co-washing a day or two beforehand a bad idea?

I would stop using it a week before if you are using cayenne.

Thanks for the input. :) I'm not using cayenne in mine, should I still give myself some time away from it?

I'm not sure if it would have a negative effect, but I wouldn't if you are concerned.

I massage my scalp with the essential oil mix and I stop at least 4 days before relaxing. The oils are said to stimulate the scalp and I don't want anything to make my scalp more sensitive.

If you are just getting a wash and set, I don't think you need to stop using it.

I'm getting a touch up so I'm giving myself a 3 day break. I also plan on doing a co-wash beforehand so, hopefully, that will also cut down on any potential product-related scalp irritation.
