Hello All!
I've been lurking for a little while and figure this is as good a time as any to say Hellloooooooooo!!
What I Need Help With:
- ANY and ALL suggestions of NYC stylists who can do a BOMB touchup. (Either someone who carries DE in salon or will use if I purchase and bring in.)
What a BOMB touchup means to me:
- Stylist is religious about sticking ONLY to new growth.
- Stylist does not leave in for an extended amount of time.
- Stylist does not "straighten" hair till all it's body is broken down.
What I am looking for in a stylist:
- I'm not a snob so if you know a hole in the wall salon or Dominican salon with a stylist who's inexpensive and GOOD I'm open to that.
- I'm willing to spend whatever it takes ($120 is my limit)
- I'd like someone who will listen to my hair journey/drama (my hair's in critical condition aka MAJORLY DAMAGED right now), take heed of my concerns, and follow through in the svc they provide.
Any and ALL help will be very much appreciated - thanks in advance!
Extra Info/ What I've been doing since I joined LHCF:
- Adopted a simple regiment (2 Co-Wash's, 1 Wash Per Wk)
- Bought starter staple products (EVOO, Vitamins, Coconut Oil, Mizani H20 Night Repair, NTM Recovery, KC Shampoo and Conditioner - Humecto to be exact)
- Have decided to maintain hair myself between touchups
- Have decided to switch to DE touch up.
