I have to ask because my sister is gonna put me on blast if I dont report what I have done. According to LHCF Bootcamp 2007,Is it ok to use a cool air blow dryer with a wide tooth detangle comb to dry my hair after regular and co washes?:ohwell: I mean, I only lost ONE hair in the whole dry/detangle process! :look: Let a sista' and her sister know!

Can't wait to hear the answer to this one. My sister told me she blow dried and - GASP - I about died!! It just seems to go against all things LHCF! However, I am a newbie, so I could be wrong. In fact, I'd give the cool air blow dry a shot if it gets the green light. HOLLA!

Hair Type: 3c, 4a
Relaxer: Phyto Index 1
Hair Staples: Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment and Tawaka as leave in and deep conditioner, Shea Moisture shea butter daily moisturizer
Current length - Full shoulder length
Hair Goal: Healthy, well maintained, happy hair

Beware of the fox in '08....

I'd like to know as well. Is the cold setting bad?

yep, yep, it's still a blowdryer in my opinion but hey I don't want no mess so I'm ghost..I'm tired anyways, good nite ladies:)

Bump, cause I'd like to know too. (even though I don't never ever use a blowdryer, I actually gave my brand new one away last yr.)

Oh yall suck!! Just because I started bootcamp...I gotta answer all the questions! Huh?

I think that is a very good question. I am going to say "no." Using handheld dryers to dry your hair requires a tremendous amount of manipulation and the "cool" setting is just less heat than the others.

It was also stated in the thread, REMINDER: LHCF BOOTCAMP 07 IS NOW IN SESSION!!

NO DIRECT HEAT: No curling irons, flat irons, marcels, handheld blowdryers, pressing combs, etc. You CAN get those nice rollersets and deep conditioning with a hooded dryer though...gotta keep it healthy ;)

I hope this clarifies your question. THIS IS BOOTCAMP SOLDIER...STOP TRYING TO BEND THE RULES :naughty:

I have another question, do our passes "roll over" if we signed up for more than one session?

I don't think our passes roll over! This ain't Cingular.

:lachen:

LMFAO. :lachen::lachen::lachen:

Yeah, I just wanted to laugh at this comment. I don't have anything conducive that I feel like adding to this thread. *exits*

LOL....Um Yea...I think she said it best...  :lachen:

Okay...but in seriousness...The goal is to actually NOT have to use the passes and just stick to the rules of Bootcamp for as long as you participate.

Okay, that's why I was asking. I know I'm going to use one, but I wanted to know just in case something came up, would it be available to me.

Thanks ladies! Glad to know my gut instinct was on target. BTW, that rollover/Cingular analogy CRACKS me up!!

Wow ya'll got jokes!!! All a sista' wanted to do was blow some cool air on her head but I get it, no cool breezes, no rollin' over passes, bootcamp is in SESSION and nobody's playin'!!!! Got It. I'm on it .... air dryin' like soldier!:armyhat: :look:

awwwww, boo...it's all good in LHCF hood:kiss:

:wasntme: :look: If you use your pass and mess up after that is there a re-start pledge? If so, do you get another free pass until the end of the session that you messed up on.

Hey Mysweet....LOL...I am going to turn my head and not look directly at you ;)To answer your question, If you use your "pass" and then mess up after that you have to invoke your consequence. You do not get another pass until the next session starts.

To the OP: Yes, we be foolin' in LHCF....although bootcamp is bootcamp...it is all in fun and in the spirit of helping one another reach there hair goals. Since I started the bootcamp, now I gotta play the bad guy :p

<Wroom> - Sound made as Adrienne fires up her hooded dryer.
