I've never tried the Afroveda product, but I just LOVE Qhemet's Amla and Olive Heavy Cream!

This stuff works wonders on my coarse 4B hair!!
I love the Burdock Root also, however it's rather light which is good for whenever I do rollersets, and my hair needs the extra daily moisturizing.

The Amla/Olive Heavy Cream feels like it actually penetrates into my hair. It actually works best when my hair is a bit damp. Love it!

Afroveda Shea Amla is much better. :yep: :yep:

Qhemet Heavy Cream:
Felt waxy to me
Left a nasty film on my hair
Not as moisturizing
Just sat on top of my hair
Way overpriced
Don't like the heavy lemon scent
Left my hair looking and feeling incredibly GREASY

Afroveda Shea-Amla Buttercream:
Nice whipped texture
Absorbs very well
Shea butter gives a nice softness to the hair
Doesn't feel heavy
Long-lasting moisture (2-3 days)
Very reasonably priced--great value
Yummy scent

(BTW, for me, neither of these products compares to Komaza's Califia Moisture Cream...that's my #1 favorite butter moisturizer.)

I got the same exact results w/the Qhemet heavy cream. I was soooo disappointed. Especially considering how much it cost. It is under my sink practically still full. I have used it so seal a few times but it is not moisturizing to my hair.

Had Both. Tried Both. Liked Both.:look:

But......If I had to pick 'one', it would be Qhemet Amla Oil & Heavy Cream. Especially Deep into a Stretch.

Don't get me wrong....IMO both products work great moisturizing, soothing & taming NG, but I'd pick AOHC over Afroveda's Shea Amla.
