Okay not loads but...a lot more than a dime sized amount...does anyone else find this makes their hair take hella long to dry? I started doing this yesterday, so today is my second time. I washed my hair yesterday after 10 am, and at 2 ish it was still really wet.......my hair is only near 5 inches when stretched. And I was in the car the whole time with the sun and the wind blowing on my hair. Its really keeping that moisture in huh

Yes this is the only thing that makes my wash n go look fantastic but i have the same problem and i havent found a solution yet. ill wash in the early in after noon & at 11pm that same night its still alittle wet on the ends but SOAKED in my roots. the blowdryer doesnt seem to help me either...

If its cone laden it takes awhile to dry...it also depeneds on how much water you choose to leave in. But the wetter the hair the better.

a dime-sized amount ain't never done ISH for me! :lachen:

yes, i use goo-gobs of conditioner and my hair loves me for it. and yes, i use it as my leave-in, especially now in this warm weather. it makes it very easy to wash and go.

for those who want to dry their hair faster... get a diffuser. that gets down to your roots, that way your hair dries evenly. :yep:

i do this but I haven't noticed that my hair takes much longer to dry. this really helps detangling the new growth though. I have been doing this for months now. To me this has helped my ends retain moisture too, eliminating my need to trim any more than every 5-6 months.

I use just enough so that all strands root to tip are coated. For me, I would say a palm sized amount is enough. Anything more is overkill. Have you tried the ORM(oil rinsing method)? I hear this makes your hair dry in no time. I will be testing this out after my stretch.

Same here, I use a lot of it.....under my wig or I put my hair in two Pocahontas braids:grin:

i started this method with organix condish or vo5, my hair loves it. ill put my hair in a pony and clip under, then use my hand dryer with attachment and dry the top of my hair while still in the pony style, that way my hair isnt getting damaged by the blowing. If its nighttime ill wrap with a scarve and go to bed(drying the outer layer makes it much easier for me to sleep without a soaking wet hair) by the morning it will be mostly all dry. Or if its daytime ill dry and wear it like that all day until dry.
this method does really well, and no hair loss from drying with a comb or brush.

The organix condish smell soooo good

I also do this method when I do my wash n go. I'll load my hair up with conditioner and add some gel to the edges, brush my hair back into a ponytail then wrap a scarf around my head for about 10 mins and I'm good to go. My hair usually takes about 24 hours to completely dry. My hair is already thick when straight so when it's wet and then puled back into a ponytail, it take twice as long to dry.

I saturate my hair in conditioner after every wash and I havent noticed if it takes longer to dry. The only time my hair takes forever to dry is when it is in a ponytail. I only do Wngs in the summer and it seems to dry an hour after I get into the sun. My hair is really thick and I dont expect it to dry all the way. I dont mind it though because I wash frequetly.

co-signing. this will be my staple leave in from now on.

When I use conditioner as a leave-in I put it on 80% dry hair so it absorbs quickly and will only take a COUPLE hours to dry. :lachen:

It really works for me but you have to make sure not to use too much condish. I did that this morning, sectioned off my hair and put way too much condish in, I had a white/gray haze over my hair.

Rushing out for work I had to run to the kitchen sink and rinse it out! I twisted it back in a bun and water was dripping down my neck but I was late, lol!

But my hair felt a lot better when I rinsed a lot of it out. Moral to the story: the amount you use is key, you just have to find what works best for you

I just bought to bottles of this conditioner, the coconut milk and the vanilla and the scent is heavenly. It could be a little cheaper though.

I'm using cone free conditioner so thats not it, but my hair is soaking wet when I put it on. I love how my hair feels after, not to mention the curl definition...and when you wash it out later. I think littlegoldlamb even says in her fotki, its like your hair is being deep conditioned 24/7
