I like it. Your hair always looks so pretty. Hoping and praying I get to your lenght one day. Congrats on reaching bra strap.

How much does a Maxiglide cost? I may just buy one instead of getting my hair pressed for my birthday.

Your hair is beautiful!

I purchased the Maxiglide several weeks ago, thanks to all of the rave reviews.
My hair was straight for week. After washing, my coils came right back.

Lovely results!! Your hair is beautiful curly or straightened. You said that you were going out last night. Did you? If so, did your hair revert at all?

Bubblin your hair is absolutely beautifu, I know your so happy that you didn't relax awhile back and decided to be patient w/your hair, now that you have the Maxiglide, you get to have the best of both worlds, .

Well, a lot of the ladies here were saying that they received a coupon from Bath and Beyond or Linens n Things that took off some money for the glide, but I didn't get a coupon:( I paid 79.99 for the glide, but that joker is so worth it! No more 'ceramic iron' hunting!

Nope, no 'revertation':lol:I did go out- it was to a police ball. NEVER AGAIN!!! I stayed in there for about 10 minutes. I spent more time outside:lol: I was expecting it to actually be cold and hard since it's chilly here, but that didn't happen either.

You are so right! You know, I was just thinking after I used it and saw the outcome and felt the outcome, I was suprised that my hair looked so good with the glide. My hair looked better and felt better after using it than when I had a relaxer. My ends are the worst parts of my hair and when I had a relaxer, no matter how much setting lotion used , sitting under the dryer, or straightening I did, those jokers would give me hell. With the maxiglide, all it took was one glide and my ends came out great!

Bubblin, you're brastrap!! Congratulations!!! Did you know you were at brastrap length? I know you hardly ever press your hair so it's hard to tell with the shrinkage.

Actually Jessie, I thought it was longer than brastrap:(

I had a 20% off coupon from Bed, Bath and Beyond and used it to purchase the glide. It is worth the regular price though. I love mine and just used it again last night. My other natural girlfriend bought it and was like "why did I ever relax in the first place?". When she wants straight, she gets beautiful straight hair. When she wants natural, she has beautiful natural hair!

Gotta love options!

yeah, that maxi glide will have your hair lookin like you have a fresh relaxer..your hair has grown so much! congrats!

Wow your hair came out gorgeous...the only reason I will not be purchasing it is because of the bulkyness..if they came out with 1" plates I would buy it on a spur :)

There's a mini glide, Eshia.

Girl, your hair is gorgeous! See, I told you it was growing! Shrinkage is a trip, isn't it? It is truly beautiful, don't MAKE me go buy that maxi! :) :)

Oh my goodness!!! That Maxiglide works wonders doesnt it....your hair is GORGEOUS and have gotten SO Long! I hate when I fall in love with other people's hair!

your hair looks gaw-geous!!! i must have one for christmas or before! and i have been on the flat iron watch forever!

and 79 dollars is nothing compared to $150 for the chi, fhi, t3 (even though i heard the t3 is worth every penny). cuz i just paid 40 for a flat iron press at the hairdresser! and the girl before her would rip through my hair leaving flyaways! (i fired her, not soon enough...)

my question is the little combs on the maxiglide? how did you manage them cuz i think my hair is similar in texture to yours! does your hair feel healthy after having used it? also, i know hair health is a major factor for you, how often do you expect to use it safely long-term? TIA...

btw, someone said they didn't like the miniglide cuz there are no temp controls...

You know what? I've NEVER used a heat protectant. I only use some type of grease back in the day, on those pics, I used a little WGO. In the test pic of the maxi, my hair was dirty and after I saw the results of the maxi, I washed my hair to do my whole head. That part that I straightened sprung right back after washing it. I don't think heat protectants are necessary.

Please Bubblin, don't scurr me. :( I don't want to see all that pretty hurr ruined. Pretty please, use a heat protectant next time.:)

And yes, you are past brastrap. I saw your hair below the bra.

See, the thing about the maxi is that you don't have to manage the little combs at all. Have you seen the infomercials? Well, if so (or not) they provide an instructional DVD in the box. They stress don't push the device down to hard straighten the hair, just glide it through and they were right. I combed my hair out very good in the beginning but I got lazy after that and the maxiglide still did it's job even though I didn't. Yes, my hair feels great after using it!
