I can't wait to use it! Thanks to all of the ladies here who provided imput on this iron. I don't purchase big ticket items for hair care without consulting you ladies!;)

Bubblin, you're brastrap!! Congratulations!!! Did you know you were at brastrap length? I know you hardly ever press your hair so it's hard to tell with the shrinkage.

Uh, oh...now you did it. Not only do I have a serious case of hair envy, but I'm gonna have to put this thing on my Christmas list. I had just convinced myself that I didn't need a flat iron, no matter how good. There goes that promise to myself.

Jessy had the same thought I had. Congrats on Brastrap. I didn't realize you were there!!!

OK, I'm SOLD!!!!

My cousin has a maxiglide that she doesn't want... she's relaxed & has a ton of other flat irons... I'm gonna BEG her to gimme that Maxiglide of hers for Christmas

You're asking me??? Girl I am looking into the hairigamimajig thing myself. For one of the buns in my album, I took my very wet hair after washing and twisted the hair around until it started twisting on it's on and pinned it up.

Girl, ur hair is too cute, and Maxiglide works wonders! I'm excited, got mine online this past week, I'll relax with Phyto on Sunday and use Maxiglide!!

You know what? I've NEVER used a heat protectant. I only use some type of grease back in the day, on those pics, I used a little WGO. In the test pic of the maxi, my hair was dirty and after I saw the results of the maxi, I washed my hair to do my whole head. That part that I straightened sprung right back after washing it. I don't think heat protectants are necessary.

ABSOLUTELY GAWJUS!!!!

I bought mine in September and have yet to use it:ohwell: Maybe tomorrow. Did you add water for steam?
