Whats the best ones? How do I know whats too harsh or not enough? I am currently about 5 months post(not sure if Im just gonna stretch or go natural yet), and I know that protein and moisture are very important.

I use one by Jheri Redding called 100% Protein. You put it in the hair and dry it in just like Aphrogee. When it was dry I would rinse it out and put Queen Helen's cholestorol in it to bring the moisture level back up. I've had this a while so they may not sell it anymore but it stops my hair from breaking instantly. I got it from Sally's. My sister uses Aphrogee and the balancing Moisture aftrewards.

IMO there is really no way to know what will be best for your hair- everyones hair is different. :yep:

When I started my journey, trial and error play a huge roll in my quest to figure out what is best for my hair. :wallbash:

Now I know -that a medium protien treatment weekly followed up by a DC for moisture is the best thing for my hair. My hair is kinda hard after the protien treatment BUT- I like it that way. The DC softens but the protien provides the strength that my hair needs.

I use Cathy Howse's UBH conditioner.
