Been Using various Protein Treatments & Bonding Treatments as well

Been a while since I've been here but I'm still a protein queen. I'm in the process of doing my hair care/beauty inventory count so I can see what I have and need to use up. I know for sure I have a bottle of Aphogee 2 Minute because it's my ride or die.

Is there an updated list of light, medium and heavy protein Conditioners? So many of the previous lists contain discontinued or reformulated products.

Hello ladies-

I am finally ready to re-build a regimen for my 4b hair now that it has grown out from a bald shave (Nov 2023).

Which one out of the 2 below should I try 1st?

A) Komaza Hair Care Protein Treatment or
B) Annabelle's Perfect Blends Keratin Protein Treatment

In the past I would add a neutral protein filler and liquid Panethenol to regular moisture DCs..so I still have those in my stash.

Komaza is a great protein BUT it is considered a strong protein, not necessarily for weekly use unless you know how your hair reacts to it. I'm not as familiar with your B choice so hopefully someone can chime in.

Thank you!
That helps. I'm planning on using the protein every 3 weeks (vs. weekly) so this is great insight.

Welcome back to the hair side!! Lol (HUG))

I'm partial to mixing up my own stuff and since it worked for you in the past, AND you still have some left, why not just mix in the proteins to your moisturizing DC like you used to??
