Protein challenges

A few years ago some of you ladies were doing protein challenges to accelerate hair growth and I wanted to know if you saw any results. My trainer is telling me I am not eating enough protein and wants me to incorporate way more protein in my diet. I had stopped eating meat in the month of October.

Sooooo I started eating 4 eggs a day (3 egg whites and 1 whole egg) as well as mixing egg whites in my daily juice smoothie and eating a packet of tuna daily. I definitely see changes in my nails. Since I am loc'ing noticing changes in the length is a bit more difficult eventhough my loctician states my new growth is coming in nicely and quickly.

What have you ladies noticed with your protein challenge? Eventhough mine is for different reasons (build muscle, burn fat), how has the protein challenge helped you as it relates to hair?
