protein and silicone free??

I think my hair is protein sensitive.
Is there a conditioner that does not have protein OR silicones??

I need an inexpensive product for co washing & detangling my natural hair.



I've been using suave naturals but I'm finding that every time I find a remove a protein product my hair is happy. I use AO HSR for conditioning and for a leave in but i was looking for something cheaper to co wash and detangle.

Do the silk proteins bother your hair, too? You might have to do a grocery store/big lots/dollar store search - I've found some that are totally protein free, but I don't think they were 'big brands', either.
