I was looking up Izunami styling tools reviews and I saw in the margins PROSILK CERAMIC IRON HEATS UP TO 435 IN 7 SECONDS sooooo.......anybody know about this thing???? I have never heard of it before....any info is greatly apprecitaed since I'm clueless.

I don't have any personal experience but I love researching this stuff. I'm also looking into the Izunami product line.
Here's ProSilk's janky-looking website. A few of the flat irons have negative or mixed reviews and most mention having problems with the power cords. I also found a marketing blog with some more information about the company. As far as I can tell, none of their irons have variable temperature control except for the digital series. They mention "proprietary ceramic technology and electronic controls" but I don't really see anything here that stands out from all the other consumer/mid-level ceramic ionic styling tools.

I use a prosilk tourmaline digital model and I absolutely love it....I've had it for 2 years. I've tried out some of the other name brands...but they haven't compared and I sent them back. I haven't read the reviews listed...but I'm a satisfied customer.
