Has anyone ever used this? What were the results. I have a ProSilk flat iron which I think is really good. But I wonder how this works!

Flat Iron Straightening Comb?? Anyone Ever Use?

Has anyone ever used this? What were the results. I have a ProSilk flat iron which I think is really good. But I wonder how this works!

I think thats just a regular comb that helps you with flat ironing. I think.....

You know I've seen something similar at the BSS and I was thinking about going out and purchasing one myself.
From what I've been told, you use it with a flat iron, like I think you put it in front of the iron and clamp down on both and as you run the comb and flat iron down the hair it will help to distribute the heat evenly on each strand and prevent tangles down through the ends. It would essentially help you to achieve a smoother result. You can just as simple make sure you run a comb through the section before straightening, but this is something you use with the iron. So if you tend to have tangled ends even after a flat iron this would help.
I love flat ironing, so any way that I can find to achieve even more salon quality results (that's non damaging) is worth a test to me. I was actually planning on picking one up today for my wash later on either this evening or tomorrow.

This is so crazy i just bought this yesterday to experiment with my sedu!! It works great!!im natural i love it no knots or tangles at the end..i did it on a small section on the back of my hair really a good tool helps with detangling and i just glide it over the hair as i put the flat iron on there..im on a personal twist challenge, but i plan to straighten the whole head using heat protectant of course in late may/early june. i will post pics.i would recommend it makes the job a bit easier from what i could see..i got it from sallys..it was about 5 dollars.

Hmmmm I just came from the BSS, and I took a look at the one that they had there a little closer. It's by a brand called Diane.
Well the "flat" part has this space in the middle of it that looks like the edges of it will run right against your hair cuticle and rip it apart, lol. The edges look a little rough. So I put that ish right back up on the shelf and picked up some NEW HAIR CANDY AND HAIR BLING INSTEAD (head bands and hair jewelry)! Y'all know I was happy, lol.
Yeah I'm a tool junky, not so much a product junky, but this one doesnt look to keen in person.

Does anyone else use this? I have the Jibere version and I LOVE it!! I've used it this weekend when I straightened and my hair was silky and smooth all weekend (and that says a lot for my baby gremlin).

I have one from Sally's. It wasn't the Jibere version though. Anywho, it works great, but no better than a regular fine tooth comb.
Pros:
Gives you better control over the hair for DIYers
Smooths and detangles the hair to the maximum producing the smoothest results possible
Heat resistant
Cons:
Difficult (for me) to use on the back of my head
Can snag tangled or very coarse hair
This comb does not replace regular detangling. It's meant for extra smooth, consistent results.
