ive been wondering what to do for prom because my prom, graduation, and senior banquet are close together so here's my prob
1.straight style will b destroyed at prom
2.updo wont fit under grad cap:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:
any ideas??

Maybe you can try a low bun with a cute bang kind of like Tyra's?
You may not like this, but I'm all into vintage-type clothes, styles, etc, and this reminded me of old Hollywood glam, and would be good because you could wear it at prom and look elegant and it would still fit under your cap.

I feel like you could still pull it off if you used a large fingerwave technique on the front part and slicked it back really, really well and sat under a dryer to set it but you'd have to be okay with a ton of gel on your hair. On the plus side, it wouldn't be going anywhere with all that gel!
But I understand how you feel... I sweat in my hair so any type of straightening does absolutely nothing after I have been in a hot party for a while.. My new growth just puffs up and laughs at me unless I have gelled it into submission.

How long is your hair? Have you considered a Curly Nikki twist and curl or braid and curl? You can then pin your hair into a low puff or leave it down. Let me see if I can find some examples.

any ideas...ive decided to get a dominican blowout for graduation so that means i can do an updo for prom any pics would be helpful

I say rollerset your hair. That's what I did when I went to prom. That way when your curls fall, your style will still be cute. And when it's time to go back to school you won't have a swingset on the top of your head.

i've decided on a style and i hope it doesnt get too messy because it does require straightening and my hair is natural im leaving it down like this except im not gettin married so no flower headpiece thingy lol
