First off: I AM NOT THE OWNER OF THIS LINE!!!!

My first product review a few weeks after i joined LHCF a year ago folks thought i was trolling. i am not. okay, now that i got that out of the way...

Beauty Food is a product line developed by a sister at my church. i purchased her product to support her business, especially because her stuff is affordable and natural. Here is my review...

I only used the Honey Creme ($10). It is a butter and is a cross between Afroveda's shea amla and their old Hemp Seed (except it is consistent and doesn't separate and stays fresh:lol:) I like that it imparts shine, is a great sealant when applied after a moisturizer and is all natural. She doesn't used fragrance (i don't think) so it smells very earthy. if you are fine with the smell of raw shea butter then you should be fine. it doesn't smell like shea butter but it smells "herbal" and the smell does NOT linger on your hair.

email her if you're interested in the ingredients b/c i didn't see them on the website. i trust her but yeah, i would recommend emailing her if you have allergies to particular oils.

ETA: realized i should of put this in the vendors forum. anyway just thought i'd reference the other product line i mentioned above. i have a thing for small black owned businesses with AFFORDABLE prices. i just wish they were more well know:ohwell:
