Do they give similiar results? I like the silk elements, it's especially good when you have a lot of new growths. At first it didn't bother me that it had mineral oil in, it makes my rollerset come out nice and smooth. However whenever I try to straigthen my hair it doesn't move cuz it's coated. So I was thinking about switching to proclaim when I'm done with the silk elements, if it doesn't have mineral oil in it also.

I personally hate both private label brands. My mother loves wack :censored: Silk Elements line of "Luxury Products." Whatever :barf: My hair also laughed at their relaxer.

We have a lot of threads on Silk Elements products. There are actually a lot of members who like it... cept me. I wish it would burn to the ground actually.

I don't really care for Proclaim's shampoos or conditioners but... their styling products are very good; i.e., gloss, oils, hot oils, activator gel... all of those worked on my hair. Everything else sucked.
