as your transitioning what where some of your set backs, problems, etc and did you almost go back to the creamy crack lol.

I had a lot of shedding in the beginning but it slowed down after started taking more vitamins. Garlic really helps BTW.

I had difficulty managing my 2 textures for a while, and dealt with some breakage issues around month 7/8 through 10/11 and I didn't want to go back to relaxing/texlaxing.

Are you having any issues that you need help with?

So far no major set back.. Just had an issues with detanngling that was about into my
5-6 month into my transition it was a mess and I thought about it for a split second and then the thought went away. What I did was research and check these board to see what I could do to help with my detangling.. Now I am doing good with detangling... I'm 15 months into my transition.

I'm transitioning and am currently 10 months in. (4ab)

It went easy for the first 6 months, and I weaved it up for two months. I'm currently bunning my hair.

I would say my biggest challenges so far have been
-trying to avoid the helmet look in buns and ponytails
-avoiding heat as a method to deal with two textures
- blending weave textures with hair left out (no more weaves for me)
- dealing with texture curiosity bordering on obsessive hand in hair disease
-twistouts, bantu outs etc don't work for me at bsl. The textures and thickness are tooooo different

Honestly, my current challenge is that my hair has been brastrap or longer as a permie since I joined lhcf, which is now 8-9 years. I don't know if I will adjust well to a short cut, so I'm wrestling with my big chop devil on my left side and my long transition angel in my right.

My problems were with breakage and moisture. I think that's why when I finally BCed I only had a few relaxed ends left because I had sooo much come out due to breakage throughout my 14.5 months of transitioning. I knew I wasn't going back to relaxers though.
