Prepooing hair extensions?

Since I have micro ring extensions, my own hair is mixed in with the extensions that I have in. If I wanted to pre poo my hair, I'd have to pre poo the extensions as well since it's all mixed together.

Just wanted to make sure that it's okay for me to pre poo extensions? If so, what would you suggest I should pre poo with??

Yes, I pre poo mine w/a water spritz (tiny bit of castor/jojoba oil in mix) then I slather coconut oil on the hair. It penetrates and helps the hair to hold its moisture.
