I took out my micro ring extensions a couple of weeks ago and I put the extensions in a plastic bag while I was moving. I need to retip the extensions so I can put them back in on Saturday but do you think I should wash them before retipping them (or maybe after) or should I just retip them?

oh sorry micro ring extensions are similar to hot fusion extensions
they are attached strand by strand but unlike fusion extensions, they aren't glued to your hair, they are clamped on by a little copper ring
I dont know if you've ever seen itipped extensions?
because of me wearing my extensions, the tips have become frayed which means i have to re-tip them so that they are sealed at the tips (like in the photo)

I would retip then wash, that way you won't have any hairs getting loose.
