Ponytail Rollersetting

This sounds bad but I use rubber bands on my ponytails for the set. I'm very careful and when my hair dries I just break or cut them off:blush:. I haven't seen any damage from this. I think I would get more damage from something I had to actually take off my hair w/o breaking it, like a regular hair band. My hair would probably get tangled all up in that thing.


I have used the rubber bands and they are way better than regular ponies because u don't damage ur curls. Love it! And I love this method!

Yeah, thats one of the reasons i like using them.
 
Cosigning on cutting whatever bands you use out - my hair tangles in the band if I don't. I haven't tried it on natural hair with rollers yet but I did use the method to let my curls dry with out poofing into a huge fro! Worked well for me during the transition air drying.
