be beautiful with no hair, or ugly with long pretty hair?

I cant answer my own poll bc I know Ive seen ppl(not here, I mean in public--haha) who would be homely or ugly without their hair, then again Ive seen ppl with jacked up hair who would be really pretty if they had some nice hair or weave...lol. just want your opinions!

Beautiful with no hair. Women can ALWAYS find ways to do something about that hair (scraves, hats, wigs, weaves, braids, etc.) It IS a tough call tho, but what if you ugly and had long hair and someone did a "samson" on you, then you're just SOL!

Beautiful with no hair. My friend is gorgeous and does nothing to her hair and it looks a mess usually, but even with the mess she still looks better than me.

beautiful with no hair...hair can only go so far in making you look attractive. Hair can't make you or break you IMO.

But haven't we all seen people that ARE made by their hair? Not to Ashanti bash, but imagine her w/some dry, damaged hair w/chewed up ends hanging at her ears..... is she still "cute"? Lush, pretty hair hides a multitude of sins & plenty of "averageness".

My other thought is that not all weaves are good weaves, so maybe your weave won't look like Halle's or Janet's. And I would look crazy in a wig while some people look fine. But I think it would detract from my attractiveness.

I don't know, the verdict is still out for me.

Plastic surgery didn't do anything for Joan and Melissa Rivers and Tori Spelling.

So I'd go with beautiful/no hair. I can buy a pound of Spanish Wavy and be on my way.

i meant that your hair cant speak for the beauty of your face and or body. For instance...lets take Beyonce. Yeah her weaves are are not the best at some times. But regardless she's still beautiful. Heck she'd be a beautiful person bald headed too.
And yes Ashanti IMO would still be cute...her hair has nuthing to do with her face or body

I would rather be beautiful with no hair. But I don't what you mean by "no hair." If by "no hair" you mean, short hair, then that's fine with me. If you mean hair that won't grow, that's fine. You can work with that; you can't change so-called "ugliness." And being "ugly" is subjective, anyway.

I had a former friend with long hair. She was pretty, but then I saw pics of her with short hair and she look a hot mess. Some people, even with long hair, may not be as attractive. That is a fallacy that we, as black women, need to get over. I would much rather have short, healthy, full-of-life hair than dull, life-less, thin hair anyday. Plus if you're ugly on the inside that you're atrocious on the outside.
